💻 When implementing a GRC solution, you need to keep end-users in mind throughout the process. Charlie explains that when new software is adopted, it will inevitably change systems and processes for your end-users. Therefore, you must ensure that these individuals can adapt to the new solution.

He recommends creating a team to oversee the implementation process from start to finish and taking the time to develop a well-defined vision for your GRC solution. When you have clear goals and a consistent team working towards those goals, you’re setting the implementation up for success. 

💻 A successful GRC solution creates automation, which ultimately provides the company with time to focus on other areas of the business. Therefore, well-implemented GRC technologies are worth the initial time investment. 

💻 Charlie warns that implementation shouldn’t be an endpoint. GRC solutions require an ongoing relationship to maximize your ROI. “It is critical that as you mature in your GRC program, you are offered the support and guidance you need going forward,” says Charlie.
